the rocks aroma festival

Teens, where were you?

Last Sunday I kicked off at the rocks aroma festival wearing a short sleeve punk-rock tee, Bardot leather jacket, Kookai skinny leg jeans, a Witchery bright tangerine scarf, my new hat from Seed and hi-top converse. Even though the sun was shining, there was a real chill in the air so my so my Bardot jacket was the perfect shield!

There was a really great atmosphere at the Aroma festival and it was packed with people and beautiful scent of coffee, tea, spices and chocolate.

We bought a delish chocolate fudge brownie cookie from Whisk & Pin and while soaking up the cultural music we checked out a couple of amazing talented people showing their acts along the Sydney circular quay promenade.

For those of you who don’t know, there is a really cool book shop down at the rocks called Ariel. While browsing this store I came across some  amazing French fashion books including Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Audrey Hepburn.

Also walking up some alleys I discovered some funky cafes, the markets and street food. I bought a Turkish spinach, beef and cheese gozleme and couldn’t resist buying a chocolate covered strawberry stick.

The walk to the Opera House was unbelievable with so many captivating moments. Arriving at the front of the Opera House gave me a totally different perspective of Sydney, and I couldn’t think of a better way to end the day!

So girls, put the Aroma Festival in your diaries for next year.

It is safe to say that I’m in love with Paddington. Today being able to take off the several layers of winter thermals and wear a summer denim on denim outfit was great. Getting out of the house and walking around sight seeing, checking out all the amazing stores is so much better then staying home! While taking in the beautiful weather with my family, we stopped in to the Paddington markets and then caught up with my best friend at the delicious Max Brenner. We then headed down Oxford Street to browse the cool fashion stores, stopped in at Toko Sushi on Oxford. I couldn’t resist buying a pair of skinny leg jeans from Kookai (on sale), a scarf from Witchery (also on sale) and a funky hat from Seed.
